Will the phone hacking scandal increase or decrease phreaking?

After reading Richard Lock's post (http://retailfraudnetwork.com/profiles/blogs/the-world-goes-phone-p...) I was wondering what peoples thoughts were on the hacking Scandal. Will it mark an increase in general phone 'phreaking' on the public? Or maybe as people are now more aware of phone hacking it might mean less people are frauded through their phones becasue they're being more vigilant?Any thoughts?...
